Accreditation as Center of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (COEMBS)
Al-Emadi Hospital has been accredited in September 2015 as a Center of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (COEMBS) from The Surgical Review Corporation – United States of America, and was the first hospital in Qatar to receive this prestigious acknowledgement. Al Emadi Hospital is also the first private healthcare facility to be accredited in the State of Qatar by the Ministry of Public Health as CME Facility Accredited Provider.
Moreover, the hospital’s Chairman, Founder and General & Bariatric Surgery Senior Consultant, Dr Mohamed Al-Emadi, has received the `The Surgeon of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery’ certificate for his distinguished career and achievements in bariatric and metabolic procedures.
